Ruby-silver-diamond konadicure for New Year

Here's a konadicure I am going to wear to celebrate the coming year:) I just could not resist using China glaze Ruby pumps as the base, this is truly an awsome festive polish that keeps you starring at your nails all the time;) There are two coats in the pictures. After painting my nails in ruby red I stamped them with China glaze Millenium and fauxnad image plate P16, which is becoming my new favourite, but I have to tell that I finally received the snowflake image plate from konad, yay! Well that's not the only ip I got, there were 5 more in the package, pics are coming next year, haha;) Then I added clear rhinestones from Essence and applied INM OutTheDoor topcoat.

What do you think of the manicure?? Do you like it? What's your favourite colour for New Year's celebration? What are you going with? Simply polish or some konad or nail art?

Dear readers and commenters, wish you all the BEST in the year to come, and a BIG thank for following, reading and commenting, it really means a lot to me:* Have a happy and polished year, KISSES from

Anita alias KONADomania

XOXO

Red&gold gradient konadicure

Hey, you lovelies!

How are you? Ready for party?;) I finally got my computer back, had some viruses and other malware on it:( but now it works great:) Here's a manicure I did about a week or more ago, for the winter theme contest. I used 2 coats of E.L.F. Burgundy over I coat of Nailtek f.2. Then a used a kitchen sponge and China glaze Passion to do the gradient which I stamped again with E.L.F. Burgundy and fauxnad image plate H23. Enlarge the pics to see the detail;)

Hope you're having a great time and lots of fun in New Year, have a nice and polished rest of the old one;)

Festive Red&Silver konadicure

It has been a while since I got his polish, but just did not manage to use it, as it is a really bright red with subtle orange inside. I'm having holidays at the moment, so it's quite the right time to try it out. This polish was a part of Ethno couture LE and is named Tuvalu, there are 2 coats in the pictures over 1 coat of Nailtek f.2. For stamping I chose China glaze Millenium and for the tips Essence Nail art tip painter in silver, which is really a great nail art painter as it's colour is so dense it is opaque with only one coat. The pattern I chose reminds me of ornaments and stars on the Christmas tree:) It can be found on fauxnad plate H23.

What do you think of the konadicure? Yay or nay? Do you like it?

Thank you dear readers and commenters, have a nice and polished day:*

The nail art contest I took part is over, and I WON, thanks to you, my lovelies who voted for me, THANK YOU again:* As soon as I get my rewar I'll swatch it and do a post on it.

Merry Christmas and Santa suit nails:)

Good morning, dear readers and commenters, hope Santa has brought you all you've wanted to have, especially a lot of new nail polishes;) I wish you to spend this lovely holiday in good spirits and surrounded by the ones you love most, lots of kisses and hugs from me too:*

On to the manicure:) I saw this one by Beauty Judy in her awsome Holiday Collection month and just had to try it out, it looked soooooooooooooo cute. It was easier to do someone else this manicure, and again here are familiar guest nails again;) I used 1 coat of Essence Ethno LE Tuvalu and Essence tip painters in white, black and silver, my friend wanted to have extra sparkles on her nails so I added 1 coat of China glaze Fairy dust. What do you think? Do you like the combination or do you prefer it without fairy dust?

Thank you dear readers and commenters, wish you great and peaceful holidays:*

You can still vote for your favourite manicure at ARS Winter nail art contest (the voting is on the right side of page and end today at 18.00 GMT +1), my entry UNSU3  is at the moment on the first place, thanks so much to those who have already voted and to those who will:*

OPI Merry Midnight Konadicure

Today I present you my favourite polish from my latest haul, namely OPI Merry Midnight. I applied 2 coats over 1 coat of Nailtek f.2, perhaps I should have done a 3 one, but IRL it looked good until I saw these pictures:) It's such a festive polish in my opinion, but I still added a konad image from fauxnad plate P16 and used Konad special nail polish in Pastel pink, which looks white in the pics, but IRL it looked soft pink on the tips:)

Do you like today's manicure and konadicure?

Thank you dear readers and commenters, have a nice and polished day:*

HAUL: Essie, CG, OPI, LCN and IsaDora nail polish swatches

Hurray, here's my new nail polish haul. I got Essie Sexy divide, China glaze For Audrey and C-C Courage, my very first LCN 264 and IsaDora 85 Sparkling gold, as well as OPI Merry Midnight. All swatches are 2 coats, except For Audrey which is one coater. There's also no top coat. As you can see I made my own light box, hihi, it's nothing professional though, but I think it'll work just fine. Do you have one of your own? How does it work for you? All colours but Essie Sexy divide are accurate, I just could not capture it, perhaps it'll be better when I polish my nails:)

Which one is you favourite? Do you have any of these polishes at home?

Thank you dear readers and commenters, have a nice and polished day and new week:*

L to R: Essie Sexy divide, CG For Audrey, 264

L to R: CG C-C Courage, 85 Sparkling gold, OPI Merry Midnight

CG C-C Courage, a bit more accurate (IRL it's a bit more violet)

Festive french starry starry KOTD and a giveaway

This is my second attempt doing french with konad image plate, and it turned out much better than my first one:), I had no problems applying the french line on the finger tips, hurray! Over 1 coat of Nailtek f.2 I painted 1 coat of Oriflame French manicure in Soft pink and 1 coat of Oriflame French manicure in Morning dew, then stamped it with Konad special nail polish in white and image plate m19.  The picture is not that sharp but you can still see the finished french manicure;)

This time of the year simply calls for more festive and glittery manicures, don't you think?;) So I used fauxnad plate D02 and again, I think I cannot go without it, China glaze Millenium. Afterwards I applied 1 coat of China glaze Fairy dust for extra glittery feeling:P. I'm really satisfied with the end result, though the manicure didn't want to be pictured so well, so please enlarge the pictures to see the details, which were more visible in real life than they are in pics. That would be all for to day, hope you like the manicure.

Thank you dear readers and commenters, have a nice and polished weekend:* Merry holidays to you all and hope Santa brings you a lot of new polishes;)

A bit blurred to see the effect of Fairy dust

Shades of U are having great giveaway, the prizes are 2 sets of MAC brushes, how cool is that, check out their blog for more information!

Another festive red&silver konadicure

Here are some guest nails again:) You know, I cannot say no when I'm asked to do a manicure/konadicure, so the result is shown in the pictures. I used 2 coats of Ruby pumps over Essence ridge filler and stamped it with konad image plate m64 and China glaze Millenium. For extra sparkle I added 1 coat of China glaze Fairy dust, and we were both very pleased with the result, my friend and I:) Though it was difficult to capture it in the pictures, so I apologize for not that good pics. How do you like the konadicure?

Thank you dear readers and commenters, have a nice and polished day:*

Essence-Verry-berry-KOTD

I just had to do a konadicure over yesterday's NOTD, can you blame me;) I used fauxnad plate H22 and China glaze Devotion. It was quite difficult to capture the image on photographs as it reflects the flash. On to the pictures then:) All were taken indoors with artificial light and flash, I had to photograph this manicure with my new IKEA slippers, as the colours are almost a match. Do you like the combination? Do you think it's appropriate for this time of the year? Is it festive or rather not?

Thank you dear readers and commenters, have a nice and polished day:*

Just a quick post, as I'm on the run to work:) I fell in love with this beautiful shade from Essence Show your feet collection named Verry berry. The application was great, I'm really satisfied:) There is one coat in picture over 1 coat of Nailtek f.2, but no top coat. Do you like it too?:)

Festive red&silver KOTD

Over the weekend I did another manicure to a friend of mine who came to visit. Over 1 coat of Essence Ridge filler I applied 2 coats of China glaze Ruby pumps, then drew a diagonal line with Essence Nail art in black and painted it whole black. Afterwards, I stamped it half snowflake image from fauxnad image plate p16 and China glaze Millenium, then I outlined it with Essence Nail art in silver and applied OutTheDoor top coat. She really liked the manicure, and so did I. What about you? Do you like it? Would you wear it yourself?

Thank you dear readers and commenters, have a nice and polished day:*
